Description
A bow-riding Dall's porpoise, moments before breaking the water's surface. I've been completely infatuated with Dall's porpoise since first encountering them in 2017. As one of the fastest marine mammals on the planet, they are extremely difficult to study, which is why I've felt so lucky to assist researchers in attempting to better understand the population that frequents the Salish Sea.
